Stacey Halstead, MA, has over twenty years of experience working with individuals who struggle with substance abuse treatment and mental health issues. She has worked in both inpatient and outpatient facilities, emergency crisis centers and correctional facilities. She specializes in working with individuals whom have experienced loss and trauma and believes in treating the whole person, which means she takes time to get to know her clients and all of their experiences. She has a very collaborative approach and believes that clients should have a very active role in their treatment. She believes that healing happens through connection, so is a believer in both individual and group therapy. Stacey obtained her Masters in Counseling from Arcadia University, and also is a certified yoga instructor. She holds a certification in Yoga for Trauma, an approach that allows individuals to release their emotions through movement, breath and postures designed to relax the body and calm the mind.
